Sarah (Quanz) Miller

Sarah was born in 1868 on the 13^th Concession of Carrick Township. She married Jacob Miller (born 1864) of Mildmay. They resided in Mildmay. Jacob died October 27, 1931. Sarah died Apr. 16, 1949. They are buried in Mildmay United Cemetery, Mildmay, Ontario.

1. Mary Miller – born Mar. 17, 1890 in Mildmay.

2. Sybilla Miller - Born January 21, 1891 in Mildmay.

3. Adam Echardt Miller - Born April 20, 1896 in Mildmay, Ontario

1. Mary Miller – born Mar. 17, 1890 in Mildmay. Married to Frank Schmidt. They lived on Lot 11 and 12, Concession 11, Carrick Township. Frank Schmidt died March 28, 1923. He is buried in Mildmay United Cemetery.

Their children (Mary and Frank Schmidt):

a. Orlando (Len) Schmidt - Born February 22, 1908 at Lot 6 and 7, Concession 13, Carrick Township. Married September 6, 1941 to Marie Allan of Laklet, Ontario. They resided in Clifford. Len died June 30, 1975 and is buried in Mildmay United Cemetery. Marie remarried May 1, 1981 to Dave Dickert. They reside in Wingham, Ontario.

The children of Len and Marie Schmidt:

i. Patricia Schmidt - Born April 19, 1944 in Walkerton, Ontario. Married to Donald Maxey Ganner, June 1, 1961. Donald was born Jan. 6, 1938. Divorced.

The children of Len and Marie Schmidt:

1. William Donald Ganner - born November 14, 1962 in Palmerston. Married September 17, 1982 to Marlene Norris (born July 20, 1962). They reside in Palmerston.

The Children of William and Marlene Ganner:

a) Karie Lee Ganner - Born April 13, 1982 in Palmerston, Ontario.

b) Sandra Patricia Ganner - Born July 16, 1983 in Palmerston, Ontario.

c) Bobbie-Joe Marie Ganner - Born September 22, 1985 in Palmerston, Ontario.

2. Kimberly Ann Ganner - Born July 6, 1964 in Listowel. Married August 8, 1981 to Raymond Tout (born November 22, 1962). They reside in Wroxeter.

The children of Kimberly and Raymond Tout:

a) Trevor William Tout - Born January 28, 1982 in Listowel

b) Christopher Anthony Tout - Born May 4, 1986 in Listowel.

c) Derek Tout - Born October 13, 1989 in Listowel.

Patricia remarried to William Wright, November 20, 1976. Resides in Morris Township, Huron County.

Mary remarried to Charles Krellar. Charles was born Jun. 4, 1894. They lived in Township. Mary died November 191 1959. Charles died September 22, 1976. They are buried in Gorrie Cemetery.

The children of Mary and Charles Krellar:

a. Lorne Laverne (Jim) Krellar - Born April 12, 1930 on Concession 14, Howick Township. Died of meningitis September 21, 1951. Buried in Gorrie Cemetery.

2. Sybilla Miller - Born January 21, 1891 in Mildmay. She married Amos Pletch (born April 10, 1880). They resided in Walkerton. Sybilla died September 8, 1952. Amos died February 20, 1960. They are buried in the Walkerton cemetery.

The child of Sybilla and Amos Pletch:

a. Percy Pletch - Born March 11, 1927 in Walkerton. Married to Mary Crawford. Mary was born July 10, 1931. Dr. Percy Pletch is a Chiropractor with a practice in Walkerton.

The children of Percy and Mary Pletch:

i. William Peter Pletch – Born March 7, 1954 in Walkerton. Married July 27, 1985 to Heather Howe (born July 22, 1958) of Mildmay. Dr. William Pletch is a Chiropractor in Hanover, Ontario.

The child of William and Heather Pletch:

1. Rebecca Louise Pletch - Born October 9, 1986 in Hanover, Ontario.

ii. James Mark Pletch - Born October 27, 1956. Married to Gail Mercer, March 24, 1963. They reside in Walkerton.

iii. Mary Ellen "Polly" Pletch - Born May 8, 1958. Married July 10, 1982 to Glen Keyes. They reside in Guelph.

The children of Polly and Glen Keyes:

1. Dannie Keyes - Born December 17, 1983.

2. Hayley Keyes - Born October 6, 1987.

3. Adam Echardt Miller - Born April 20, 1896 in Mildmay, Ontario. Died of influenza October 14, 1918 at the age of 22 years. Buried in Mildmay United Cemetery.
