Elizabeth A Quanz was born Jun. 23, 1883 at Concession 14, Carrick Township, Ontario. She was the youngest child of Adam Echardt Quanz and Maryanne Riehl.

Lizzie married Ernest E Eickmeier Mar. 8, 1904 in Carrick Township, Ontario, Canada. The witnesses for the marriage were Frank Eickmeier & Mary Miller. Ernest was born Oct. 6, 1876 in Carrick Township, Ontario. He was the son of Henry Eickmeier & Mary Schweitzer.

They farmed at Concession 10 of Carrick Township until retiring to Mildmay. He died 1957 and was buried in Mildmay United Church Cemetery, Mildmay, Ontario. Elizabeth died on Feb. 18, 1955 and is also buried in Mildmay United Church Cemetery, Mildmay, Ontario.
